August 19, 2002 UPDATE ... UPDATE ... UPDATE What'z new with the Extreme Weezils? Well, a lot, depending on who you ask! This entire month is Family Month : my mother-in-law is visiting from Alabama for the first two weeks or so. Then, two days after she leaves, I am headed home to Boston, Massachusetts to spend a week with MY family. Upon my return the following week, we pick up our very first PUPPY. Yes, the Extreme Weezils are adding another fuzzy to the household in the form of an eight-week old German Shepherd puppy! After many months of research, discussion, and debate, my husband and I have decided to finally take the plunge and bring a fuzzy dog into our Weezilized World. German Shepherds are herding dogs and, after all, eight ferrets and two cats could be considered quite a herd in most anyone's book ... Check out one of many wallpapers I've created for your viewing and desktop-gracing pleasure. Custom sizes and colors can be created upon demand. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!Besides working WAY too hard, enough to make myself SICK AGAIN, I have been expanding my world of graphic design via both Photoshop and 3d software programs.... Wondering how Bonzai was escaping from the room? So were we, so I hid behind the entrance wall to watch. Sure enough, Bonzai was climbing to the top of the middle sized cage, the one nearest the door, and JUMPING towards the waist-high wood barrier. He would slam his little ferrety body over and over again against the wood until finally he made contact between his front paws and the very top of the barrier. Then, he would hoist himself up and over the barrier to FREEDOM! Needless to say, we moved the cage to a different angle, creating an even more impossible and unlikely escape for our Houdini Zucchini! |

Well, a few things have gone down the past few weeks. Of course I want to share them with all of my Extreme Weezil Buddies!
TUES, AUG. 6, 2002 : My mother-in-law flies in for a two-week visit. Two days after she departs I take leave ... home to Boston for a week leaving my fuzzy fam-i-ly behind... FRI, AUG 30, 2002 : I return from my week's vacation in Boston, reunite with my fuzzies, and then... the big surprise that will wait until just after the fact! |
July 9, 2002 Bonzai has found a way to escape the ferret room. Our little Houdini-Zucchini, Bonzai, has found a yet unknown [to us] way to escape the confines of the Weezil Room and liberate himself at his whim.
This morning both my husband and I slept in - he was not feeling well and I was in serious need of sleep catch-up. At about half hour to noon, my husband staggered to the bathroom, taking note of Bonzai running up to him with an expectant look on his ferrety face. In his still sleep-induced stupor my husband said, "Oh, hi Bonzai." Then he realized that I was still asleep in bed, meaning one thing and one thing only : Bonzai has finally found a way to escape. The next two days will reveal Bonzai's secret. Until then, we must be extra vigilant with the knowledge that Bonzai could be out at any given moment... STAY TUNED for the mystery to reveal itself! |
The WebMistress has been hard at work experimenting with different looks for the Extreme Weezils Experience.... |
