Bandit thinks he is a dog. He will come out and sit by our chairs, lazing on the floor, preferably snuggled up in a blanket or towel. He is content with some company and a few head pats. Bandit gets our attention by either climbing up the large main cage in the ferret room and acting like he is going to hurl himself off or lying on his back and pawing at the wooden door between the ferret room and the kitchen. SCRATCH-SCRATCH - SCRAAAPE!
