The June 2002 Living Room Weezil Stash Clean-Out
We painted the far wall of the living room, so we had to move the couch away from the wall in order to do so. On moving the couch, the following was uncovered, as illustrated in the accompanying photos:
  socks of all shapes, sizes, and colors
 empty soda cans
 pensboth cat and ferret toys
plastic cupsodds and ends including empty boxes
two belts

May 2002 pre-visitation Clean Up : The Spring Stash
The above photo depicts the collection of stuff stashed by the Extreme Weezils in the past few months alone under our bed. February 2002 : Odds and Ends from Around the House We have gained a significant amount of living space in our house as compared to our old apartment ... which the ferrets have used to the fullest advantage to STASH both their old favorites and newly discovered treasures...
Here is a hodgepodge of items picked up over the past two months:  round cotton makeup remover pads, usually stolen in fully intact, sealed packages of over 100 count cat toys galore, especially fur covered micehalf and quarter chew weasels
one or two slippers, always mine
varitey of undergarments up inside the bed, apparently pulled up through clothes drawers built-in
daily Seattle Times', still in plastic bag from morning delivery
an array of multi-flavored soda cans, empty
VCR tapes from the shelves in the computer room, usually with movies from the 1980's or early 1990's recorded on them
various pieces of mail, especially junk mail
a handfull of Readers Digest magazines, still in the delivery plastic
the ubiquitous pocket tissue pack, as well as the occasional tissue pak explosion remnants consisting of tissues and outer plastic wrap
cat and ferret kibble of every brand in the house; both under the couch AND in the bed
the occasional ferret 'present' requiring a trip to the kitchen for a roll of paper towels and our trusty Kids N" Pets
misc. items too obscure to come to mind this exact moment ...

A Year's Worth of Weezil Treasures - Under the Couch On Saturday, November 16, 2001 we rented a moving truck to carry our furniture to our new house from our apartment. Inside and underneath the bed are plenty of wonderfully isolated hiding places for the Weezils to bring their stash. Ferret Stashed : Hidey Hole Contents March 2001
The Official Extreme Weezils Front Room Collection is cleaned out! All six ferrets get to come out of their part of the house to play, supervised, intermittently throughout the day. We have seen various ferrets scampering under the couch, a giant sectional that wraps around half the living room, with an assortment of items in their mouths. Finally, after over seven months of collecting, my husband decided today was the day to clean the whole area ...
Here is what was recovered: 
over two cups of dry cat food, stolen from the two cat dishes to save for a later snack ... about a cup and a half of that was stashed in the fireplace (flu is always closed!)various film canisters, some old and some new, some with a bell or a coin in it (a toy I make for them on occasion) and some brand new with the plastic wrap still intactsix pocket tissue packsone black lacy brafive Coke cansan empty two liter Diet Coke bottlea multitude of cat toys, from over a dozen furry mice to birds on strings to puff balls ... |
